Howdy, Like people, neighborhoods come and go - and sometime are reincarnated into a new form. Some neighborhoods lead a mundane existence, others are brimming with a diverse history. There is an area in Chicago that is most interesting, and held importance in a variety of eras. During the Sixties, Chicago's Old Town was a hippie cultural area. I have not personally been there, but knew about it - as I did Greenwich Village, Haight-Ashbury, Toronto's Yorkville, etc. Here is what the Wikipedia has to say about Chicago's Old Town: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Town,_Chicago Peace, Shaggy
