Howdy, In the Sixties, the hippies made do with inexpensive pleasures. Artistic concoctions made the commune, trip room, or individual pad, groovier. Here is a desk photo frame that I picked-up (and paid for) at Goodwill. Goodwill and thrift stores are a treasure house for craft supplies! In the frame, I have added a patch purchased from eBay. I just checked eBay, and they are still available and going for around $6.50 - $7.00 - including shipping. Have a little patience and look around, you can probably do better. You also don't have to use the patch that I did - there are many others. Make art - not war! Shaggy Attachments:

Howdy, Here's another framing for my trip and hip room. I found a 7" x 9" wooden frame at the thrift store. It has a display area 3.5" x 5.5" and has a .25" recess. I painted the frame black, found a small American flag, like the ones used to stick in the ground on holidays, and made it the background. I purchased three authentic pin-back buttons from the Sixties: A John Kennedy presidential button, a Robert Kennedy presidential button, and a Martin Luther King memorial button issued after his assassination. This is a cool memorial to three people who lost their lives in service to the people. Peace, Shaggy Attachments:
