Howdy, The following website has all kinds of info for those who make necklaces - from fancy to simple. I also bought some purple elongated wooden beads on eBay - but had to string them myself. Finding cording at a craft store was simple. On this piece, I just tied a permanent knot. And now I have a nice set of "love beads". Yep, that's what we called 'em! Love beads were my first clothing accessory during the Summer of Love on Plum Street in Detroit - and they were purple.
